荷的心事
冰花

一朵含苞待放的夏荷
心兒在心事中裹纏
誰能把裹纏片片剝開
誰能把荷的心兒呼喚出來

無緣的人啊
不是走得太急
就是來得太晚

甜蜜的心兒在等待中
化為了苦蓮
結果無法改變
荷的心事
成了一孔孔的藕斷絲連

THE HEART OF A LOTUS

A summer lotus bud that’s ready to bloom
The heart’s wrapped in worries
Who can peel off the wrapping petal by petal
Who can call out the heart of the lotus

Oh, the hapless one, who
Either leaves too hurriedly
Or comes too late

The sweet heart in the waiting
Has become a bitter lotus
The outcome can’t be varied
The worries of the lotus
Have become holes with unbroken fibers
