Got this from an email - This coming Friday. It should be fun.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Miles is a 5 years old kid, suffering from Leukemia. This kid loves superheroes and his fondest wish is to be Batman!
Make-A-Wish foundation has planned to make his wish come true on Friday, 15th Nov at San Francisco. They’ve planned an elaborate set of stunts, which includes: rescuing a damsel in distress on a cable car, capturing the Riddler in a downtown vault, chasing the Penguin around Union Square, and finally receiving the thanks of a grateful mayor and police chief on the steps of City Hall.
So people, in and around SF (and can afford some time off on Friday), here’s a good way to participate:
(From Make-A-Wish website)
1) You are invited to catch the action in one of these locations and cheer on Batkid as he fights crime and battles villains:
a. Look on as a flashmob warns Batkid that the Penguin has kidnapped Lou Seal and see them speed away from Union Square - AT CAPACITY
b. Join in a massive celebration at City Hall at 2pm as SF Mayor, Ed Lee, and the Police Chief present Miles with a key to the city and congratulates him on a job well done (approximately 2:00pm) - RSVP
2) You are welcome to capture it on film, video, and in print. We are happy to provide you with additional information about Miles, his wish, our organization, and the sequence of events.
