* This lotion is wonderful, I used it during my pregnancy and did not get one stretch mark. I love the scent and a little goes a long way.

* This is the best lotion I have ever used. I thought other lotions were better in the past, but I know now. With the harsh winter temperatures, and the indoor heating, this lotion has kept my skin smooth and supple. I slather it on after every shower, and during the day after I wash my hands. I will use this lotion forever!

* Great consistency, and smells wonderful!

* I love this lotion, though I didn't like the scent very well. I just added some of my scented oil. I use it on my feet and my boyfriend loves how soft they are.

* I had never used shea butter before and now know why it is a favorite of many. This is great lotion and the soap is terrific, too. My skin is very dry and this has really made a difference.

* I have severe eczema on my hands, and I have tried just about every prescription there is for this condition. Palmer's Shea Butter is a miracle for me. I can't believe how great my hands look! I still have scar tissue, but they aren't cracked and bloody anymore. I use Palmer's at night with cotton gloves, and that really helps keep the moisture in and the eczema away! While I'm not particularly fond of the scent, it really isn't bad.

* Better than any other drug store lotion! It's a lotion not a cream, so don't expect it to be super rich. But for a lotion it's great -- it absorbs well, not sticky, yet still enough moisture to not have to reapply more than once a day; makes cuticles soft and that's how I can tell it does a good job. I use it on my hands that often crack and bleed from dryness. Lovely, but not overpowering smell.
Shea butter is probably the best ingredient for dry skin lotions; the body shop's shea butter body butter is great, better than this but more expensive & more sticky. The BEST I've ever found for hands is Crabtree & Evelyn's LaSource Hand Therapy - well worth the price if you have problem skin - makes your hands soooo smooth. Past boyfriends have commented what silky hands I had after applying it even though without it I'm like sandpaper. Try either Crabtree & Evelyn, this, or Body Shop, and you won't regret it!

* This lotion is GREAT! It makes your skin really soft and smells wonderful. I hate lotions that don't absorb into your skin and make you feel sticky. This absorbs quickly and makes me feel like it's helping me. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I hoped it would give me more of a radiant glow. My arms and legs look healthy but don't glow. Still a very good product.

* A very outstanding and simply unique product for skin care.
-- Quin, Indianapolis, IN on December 6, 2005
* This product is surprisingly great for the price. It goes on smooth and smells terrific. Great price for the quality. My skin has not felt softer. I am picky about lotion also.

* Love it, love it, love it! I am very particular about lotions. I don't like to feel greasy or sticky right after I shower. This lotion is awesome! It absorbs into your skin very quickly and has a wonderful, CLEAN scent! I have had problems with eczema and this product has completely cured that. I haven't tried the cocoa butter formula, but I think I would prefer the clean scent of this product vs. the vanilla scent.

* Palmer's Shea Butter Formula is wonderful. I've never used the Cocoa Butter line, but this one is very easily absorbed, it has a faint pleasant smell of summer (kind of tropical) and it hydrates my extremely dry skin while leaving a healthy sheen. I've been using it for a few days now and I apply it to my legs even while wearing pants, because it absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't leave an overly-shiny look. I usually don't like putting on lotions, no matter how great they are -- mainly because even the most absorbent of lotions make my hands feel greasy, but this Palmer's lotion is easy to apply with the nice squirt bottle, and not too thick.

* I'm giving this 5 stars because I have found the best of both worlds with Palmer's Shea Butter AND Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotions. I have a large pump bottle (generic) and get an 8.5 oz bottle of BOTH. Then I mix them half and half and find it to be GREAT for me. I go to the YWCA and work out in the pool several times a week and the chlorine really does 'a job' on my skin....ITCH, ITCH, ITCH!! I like both of these lotions, but mixing them together is even better. I put some in a smaller bottle to keep in my gym bag and put this on right from the shower after getting out of the pool. I don't itch anymore!!

* Palmer's is the BEST, and in my opinion this Shea Butter Lotion blows their Cocoa Butter away! The Shea Butter formula is so moisturous and seems to seal the skin. Plus, it's white and absorbs completely so it doesn't rub off and the scent is a luxurious light herbal scent that doesn't clash! I am happy to find it here at drugstore.com, as it's not readily available in desert.

* Works well, but does not have the warm sweet smell of vanilla that the cocoa butter products have. The smell is closer to a clean herbal smell, but definitely not one that I would rave over. I had expected the shea butter to work better than the cocoa butter, but in reflection I don't think it kept my skin as moisturized as the cocoa butter.
