我只负责传达个信息，借论坛广而告之家中有女待嫁。  

阿姨托我几次了，埋怨我自己幸福了，不顾不谙风情的小表妹。二十 大几的人了，整天大门不出，二门不迈。她未来的幸福全交付在大表姐身上了。我因受了委托寝食难安，有种将妹妹一生系于我的努力的使命感。我不是个成功的媒婆，因为牵线的多，成功的记录没有。但不懂为什么总有人托我，也许我比较热心，当个正事去办。也许我的婚姻被传诵为经典，看我小日子团巴的红火，想来我能看上的男人或女人一定没错。  

家里的另一个大表妹在21岁上被舅妈托付给我，我甚是热心地张罗了好一阵子，把老公的好朋友兼同班同学介绍给他。两个人在我们的凑合下，一起去吃了几顿饭，看了几场电影。舅舅舅妈说，那男孩人品没什么可挑的，就是年龄好象大一点，比妹妹大了7岁。 

家长既然有顾虑，我就问妹妹行吗？妹妹说，我随便。问她喜欢他吗？她反问我，什么是喜欢？反正不讨厌。 

几次约会以后，没下文了。问男方，说不知道跟她聊什么，两个人总无话。曾经跟着后头到他们约会的环城河边偷看，发现俩人正襟威坐，非常安静。于是暗暗替妹妹着急，难道恋爱也要教？你不会跟他聊聊你的工作？不会拉着他的手去河边捉萤火虫？当下断定妹妹是个榆木疙瘩，对于爱情的事情少了根筋。悲切地想，我家的姑娘又要有大龄青年了。  

没多久，捷报传来了，说是妹妹单位系统的工会主席牵线，把她介绍给另一个公司的搞宣传的男孩。某次碰巧看见俩人从个偏僻小巷子出来，丫头甚是亲昵地用杂志敲那男孩的头，男孩即便用手箍了她，搂着跑了。那男的，大妹妹9岁，舅舅舅妈当场晕厥，死活不同意，说7岁的回绝了，竟来个9岁的！妹妹突然就有了主心骨，嗔怪她妈妈：“要你管？大点我喜欢。老太婆忙你自己的去，不要烦。”  

年头回家，妹妹已经结婚了，肚子也大了起来，见到的时候正撒赖坐她老公怀里，张着口等现成的瓜子吃。 

于是想，爱情这东西，只在时机对头的时候才开窍。也许，丘比特冒充江湖郎中，拿着测试膝跳反应的橡皮棒子，却习惯性地敲在了两个不相干的人的心上。
