after all the manipulated
lines, jargons, promises & lies
have been exhausted
They were taught
to deflect the rage
of a sober heart
Consciousness
can be an embarrassed truth
when you look
unconsciously
into the dirty water
out of which you have fished,
washed & bleached
the so-called rational
mind
The spirit of sorghum!
The pureness of fire
coaxes me to undo myself,
to retell the jokes
that never made me laugh
and to look directly
into your eyes...
The river of longing
runs like slow fire
by the field of harvested love
slowly burning
the laughter & the unspoken
secrets
The moment of
unburdened dreaming
