YouTube Challenge - I Told My Kid I Ate All Their Halloween Candy Again
Just when you think Jimmy Kimmel has challenged parents to do every mean thing they could (jokingly) do in front of a camera phone, he comes back with a bold proposition. This week, while filming his show from Brooklyn, Kimmel announced that it was time to try his original prank -- tell your kids you ate all their Halloween candy -- again.
The beauty of tricking children for a late-night talk show bit turns out to be that the viral video results will never make their way into the hands of the under-four-foot-tall set. Not only did a whole new group of kids fall for the candy hoax this year, but one little girl in the newest video is living proof of what Kimmel probably knew all along -- most of them don't have an inkling as to who he is. "Who's Jimmy Krimmel," she asks at around the 2:38 mark. (Notably, parents taking part in the challenge seem a little confused about his name too. We're not clear why a mom jokester keeps calling him Larry.)
What is absolutely certain is that the sequel is just as funny/sad as the original. The kids' reactions range from despair and super-tantrum to hope that one day they and their parents can get along. Watch the clip above to see them all and check out last year's as well as Kimmel's past challenges below.
