She goes back to LA from time to time to visit Duke, plus some shopping, dining, maybe a haircut or two. Because of Duke, she likes every cat that’s big and yellow. She also wants me to have a cat.

|h^G $guw I don’t really have a problem with cats. In fact, I encourage her to have a big yellow cat of her own. Last time when we were visiting Seattle, we saw a cat really to her liking. She couldn’t sleep well, so we got up early in the morning before heading back, hope to see it again. Just when she finally made up her mind to adopt it, we found out that it was adopted by a lovely lady before us. Somehow we were both sad and relived to some degree.
= B/s H N UijuJ(Tle On the other hand, I have been weighing on if to have a dog. I have had a dog when I was a kid. I don’t really remember much of that, except I must have had a lot of fun. You know, just a feeling of joy that somehow was imprinted on me. I don’t remember if we rolled in mud together. If I have to guess, we mush have, because I grew up in the farmland, mud is all we had, and I have yet to meet a boy that have not rolled on floor times again. It was not a problem for me then, but it might be a problem for me now. I am not sure if I can handle the dirtiness.

Q bOd sMlJkN The other thing I am concerned is if I can handle the loss. A dog can only live for so many years, and most likely I am going to out live it. This might be too much to handle for me. I know I am not the healing kind, but to be able to love without reserve might in itself be healing for me. You see, a dog will always be loyal to you, and will not care if you are clean or not, if you roll in the mud, it will follow you there. A dog will not care if you feed it good food or whatever food you can scrap, it will also not care if you live in palace or a homeless shelter. Just your love, and it will return with its lifetime love to you, till death does you apart.
