oh my God, 臭孩兒 is my hero! if you put your persistence to other things, I bet you will be a billionaire or nobel prize winner ...
My wife is a chronic weigh loss enthusiast, but she has no persistence nor mental strength to resist life's pleasures, so she's on a constant persuit of new diet fad. the only plan that really worked for her was the Apkins diet (i.e., low carbo diet, which I am sure you have heard of). Apkins diet has been ridiculed by the medical community for 3 decades, but have proven to be the only one that really worked (other than the healthy way of moderation and excercise). however, the original Apkins diet is probably not healthy (i.e., not neutritionally balanced) and should not be followed for long time. Recently she found another plan that also worked, it's called "fat flush plan". it's essentially a variation of Apkins diet, but seems to be much healthier. Like usual, she's not following it strictly, but she seems to be losing pretty decent weight. I liked it because it seems to be healthy and neutritionally balanced, and can be followed on long term basis. it could be an issue, however, if you are a rice lover. Not a problem if you are a fish/meat lover.
