The goat and the fox
One day, a fox was chasing a rabbit through the forest.
The fox leapt over a bush to catch the rabbit.
But he fell right into a big hole.
The fox tried to get out of the hole.
He jumped and jumped, but could not get out.
In the end, the fox just sat in the hole and waited foe help.
Soon, he heard someone walking by.
“Hello!” he shouted.
A goat walked up to the hole.
“What are you doing down there?”
He asked the fox.
“Oh, don’t you know?” said the fox.
“There are some sweet berries down here. Won’t you like to come down and have some?”
“Yes, please,” the goat said.
And he jumped into the hole.
The fox quickly stepped onto the goat’s back.
Then he jumped out of the hole.
“Where are you going?”
Asked the goat.
“I’m oing home,”
Said the fox.
“There are no berries in here,” cried the goat.
“Help me get out of this hole, please!”
“I’m sorry. I can’t,” said the fox
and he walked away.
