话要怎样说才能好听，信要怎样写才算圆满？
达到同样的目的可以有不同的途径。
班里有个学生，缺课太多，我需要写封信去提醒他，再持续缺课，这门课就要挂了。
这个学生拿政府的经济资助上学。
如果一门课挂掉，要自己负担该门课的学费不说，还要冒下学期失去经济资助的风险。
我于是给我家两个小子布置命题作文，写封电子邮件，提醒该学生，按时来上课。
小儿子一改往日的嘻哈顽劣，一本正经地写（我译成中文）：
嗨，艾迪，你已经缺了很多课了，如果你继续这样下去，就像你早已知道的，你将失去这门课的成绩。
如果你想让你的这门课，在你的成绩单上好看一点，请你作出努力。
(原文：Hey, Eddie, you have been absent from class many times, and if you continue like this, as you already know, you will lose the credit of this course. If you want to make this course look better on your transcript, please show more effort.
大儿子这样写：
亲爱的艾迪，很遗憾，看起来，到目前为止，你一直有按时来上课的麻烦。
请让我知道，我要怎样做，才能帮助你来上更多的课？
