这篇文章，我也只能称是印象。原因是，虽然桂棣是我劳工的本家堂叔，我们小辈却跟长辈鲜有交往。当年在国内的时候，我还不是一文学女青年，而是一典型的混子，每日不是醉卧酒场就是忙着搓麻将，压根没把大作家放在心上，没想到日后会和被神话的泰斗战斗在同一份报纸的不同版面上。

我脑子里的桂棣，都是公公婆婆整日嘴里念叨的，桂棣短桂棣长，所以，大多都是同志们看不见的光鲜后面的补丁，不登大雅之堂。

这次回国，抽一日回怀远老家看奶奶的坟，顺便到蚌埠的亲戚家坐了坐。一提到桂棣，才发现，堂叔叔本人在老家的口碑实在不怎么样。五婶婶一提到桂棣二字，到现在还怀有怨恨，说当年就是那家伙，好好的正事不干，写什么揭露文章。你写你的呀，别把我们这一家都带衰了。蚌埠市的多少当权领导，到现在对他都咬牙切齿，这个城市，他就别打算再回了。“当年我儿子去考银行，人家银行主考什么都问完了，最后问一句，你爸叫陈桂福，跟陈桂棣什么关系？我儿子不长心眼，当时就讲，那是我大爷。完了，完了，当场就给轰出来了，临走送一句话，你叔叔英雄你好汉，我们伺候不上。”五婶婶说起当年的恩怨，就象昨日发生一样，“再后来俺们就学聪明了，再问什么关系，就讲一个庄子上的，从没见过。”这个段子，怕是诸位从报纸上压根看不到的。

桂棣好象天生反骨，所以难怪他一世受穷。现在的人，谁不利用手里的便利，有权的谋点钱，有钱的谋点权？没钱没权的，会写两杆子，也好歹唱两句颂歌，诸如“在南海边画了一个圈”或“迈进了新时代”，甭管多肉麻多难堪，捞点实在的给自己才不天诛地灭。

最近他又火了一把，为了一部墙内开花墙外香的“中国农民调查”。原本墙内也是香的，不过没香两天就给枪毙了，把这部作品归于扫黄打非的“少女的心”的行列。第一版15万本，刚卖两天就出了盗版，不出半个月售罄，好不容易逮个发财的机会，结果给掐了，不许再版。

这事儿搁我，我得郁闷至死，生生堵了我财路。我是一俗人，我不要流芳百世，我就来现的，见钱眼开。不讲社会效益，只看金钱挂帅。这俩人辛苦五年，上山下乡，就好比赌博把宝都押一数上，最后SHOW HAND。好不容易到开盘中彩了，庄家撤单，你押的不算。郁闷啊 。。。。。。

上次公公婆婆去看他们，夫妻俩倒很乐呵，回答说，现在真是思想开放了，百花齐放了，没怎么我们，没打击迫害。就是不让印了，万幸万幸。

那天，公婆进门的时候，春桃不在，一问，说出去买盗版书去了，买来了好送人。春桃一进门，捧着书说：“没舍得下手，涨价了又。前天还六块一本，今天要8块。我就买了三本。”桂棣翻开盗版，指着第一页说：“现在的盗版质量都不错，没什么错别字，跟正版差不多。其实比正版还好，正版第一页里还有个错别字，‘令人振奋的消息’，上面写的是‘今’，盗版给改过来了。我当时答应送这个送那个，现在正版没了，我就只好自己掏钱买自己的盗版书，支持一下盗版。”我家到现在还有一本他签名的盗版书。

生生的原本属于自己的几百万就这样没了。

这世界，就是这样的不公平。你眼睁睁看着某权贵公子哥平得几十亿，也许还是港元，还是官的，你也只有叹气的份儿，对于小民来说，只企求阖家平安。虽然有那些含着金勺子出生的“白相家”，衣食无忧着蹙眉哀叹“可恨生在帝王家”，不过，我也还是希望自己的爹为当今一霸，就让别人恨去吧，我且浮华。

阖家平安对桂棣家好象还挺难。给我写序的那一段，他们正忙着往北京赶，说是北京的文学界朋友替他们物色了一套落脚的房子，先出去躲一躲。

别看桂棣搁电视上表现得豪情万丈视死如归的，私下里还是怕。怕有人搞他。真有人搞，官司不断不说，他那4岁的儿子都送出去，不敢在家呆。“我不怕，可我得替我儿子想想，他才那么小，又那么可爱。我怎么忍心。。。。。。”

人都有弱点。只要你抓住。

我现在明白了“后顾之忧”“瞻前顾后”的后的含义了。这个“后”，就是指后代。一个人，要想干革命，就得绝代。否则，就会牵肠挂肚，被敌人招安收买。拿你儿子一要挟，多硬的大侠都得下跪求饶。

走那天晚上，夫妻俩还是满怀憧憬的，卷了一包钱，也就是这次的稿费，上路了。我说一包，这是文学修饰的需要，如果都换成十块十块，大约有那么一蒲包，但若是一百一百，估计也就是个男史手机包就够了。

我不知道这钱有多少，不过，根据一个礼拜后夫妻俩无功而返且垂头丧气，我能猜出来。再问他们房子的事，便没声音了，只说还是决定在合肥买一套。后来，听春桃婶婶说：“北京真是有钱人的地方啊，我们的钱，刚够捐个门槛。”

由此我知道，想做一个纯粹的作家，是有标准的，那就一个字——穷。这个纯粹的作家，不包括经常闹绯闻的作家，经常打官司的作家，经常在电视上露面并点评流行歌手大奖赛的作家，经常为流行电视剧住宾馆里按集付钱的作家，还有用下半身写作的作家和旅居海外一面跑着国内生意一面在飞机上摇着笔杆消遣的作家。

我就指纯粹的作家，为思想而写，远离宦海。

所以，我打一开始就反感人喊我作家。你可以喊我“美女”，但不能喊我作家。我可以忍受你臭我“美”，不能忍受你咒我穷。美这词，反正已经糟蹋了，我不怕轻薄了它。现在的美，又没什么标准，连整过容的都能算美女，我这一天然的，随便拾掇拾掇，也不差啊！

但，你不能喊我作家。因为，这世界，离了谁都能过，不能离了钱。我没你想象得那么清高。我选择了儿童教育作为主业，而写作，只能算我的填补空虚的爱好。至少，我瞄准了，没准搞幼儿教育，我还有可能发一把。
 
这春桃也是个人物。

春桃当年嫁给桂棣的时候，还是个小姑娘。因此，我将他们的婚姻归结为一个小姑娘的“理想。”

人在不同年龄段上有不同的理想，而少女憧憬的理想，与少妇完全不同。当然这不能以身份区别，而应归结于不同的年龄断。就跟20岁的少女渴望嫁一个科学家或战斗英雄，而到25岁就希望嫁个电影明星帅哥哥，到了三十岁的时候，就觉得嫁个老板更强，最好是有车有房，有钱无娘。

不过能象春桃这样，将理想当饭吃的，不太多。

她是我见过的女人里，最安贫乐命并自满的。

我就从没见她拾掇过自己，一身以上最少是10年前的款式，吃饭，小菜萝卜加泡饭能糊弄一年。

这次回国，本想请他们吃顿饭，表示一个文学后进女青年对他们的感谢，不想他们下乡搜集素材去了，不在。我便将一瓶牌子还不错的护肤品交给婆婆，说下回见，替我送过去。

哪想到婆婆撇撇嘴，说，你送她这个，她也不知道好啊！你说几百几百，在她眼里跟几块几块有什么区别？再说了，人这一辈子，可就靠这一瓶就美白了？她就算真用了，往后不还是什么都不抹地在乡下跑？能有干净水洗脸都不错了。我看啊，你这叫好看不中用，还不如送她儿子点吃的玩的能叫她高兴。”

我笑了。想想，也对。

上次桂棣叔叔说请公公跟他回老家一趟，替他爸爸，一位90多岁的老人留个活动的印象。那时我公公刚买了台摄象机，后来，俩人就回去了，替老爷子拍过，据说效果很不错。

我听了心里满酸。觉得叔叔搞文学的，从任何角度上讲，都该有台摄象机。有心想送他一台。我临回去前也看了看价格，怎奈作家的名气没沾上多少，作家的穷字倒是老跟着我不跑。荷包还是没有坚挺到可以毫不犹豫付帐而不感难受。

所以，我不能走他的老路。我得想法子赚钱。

精神文明就交给他建设吧，我抓好物质文明就行啦！
